Job Description
You will support the R&D, plant operations and project teams by ensuring that all products, materials, equipment, services are identified and coded consistently and according to the data nomenclature. It is an opportunity to work with diversified groups to deliver successful products to the market.
Your role and responsibilities will be the following:
· Manage the set-up and maintenance of all new items in ERP system.
· Bill of Materials (BOM) Creation
· Product Routing
· Update product information in the ERP system
· Pilot processes with cross-functional teams.
· Achieve and maintain data quality and integrity across systems/processes and ensure that all changes to existing items are completed in a timely manner and communicated appropriately.
· Process master data requests as well as response to emails and queries from other departments
· Execute periodic master data clean ups
· Ensure internal controls are adhered to
· Provide support in strategic initiatives, continuous process improvements and process reviews
Qualifications
· AEC or DEC or Bachelor in technology management, business management.
· 2 to 4 years of relevant work experience
· Good experience with an ERP (preferably SAP and/or Dynamics)
· Knowledge of Excel (intermediate to expert level)
- Knowledge of product nomenclatures
- Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively with all stakeholders, i.e., engineering and project teams.
- Methodical and meticulous with excellent organizational skills
- Sense of responsibility and ability to work independently.
- Cooperative and takes a constructive approach to problem solving as well as communication with individuals at all levels of the organization.
***Please note, for the training purpose, you will be required to travel to Sainte Hyacinthe and/or Sainte Marie for one week at the beginning of the employment.
