Job Summary:
Hey there, we're Alto! We're an online platform connecting vetted caregivers with families in need of child care services. As a vetted child-care caregiver, you'll be responsible for providing attentive care, engaging activities, and a safe environment for children of different ages.
Working as an independent contractor, you'll have the freedom to set your own schedule, hourly rates, and choose your clients. You can work as much or as little as you prefer, based on your availability and preferences. Additionally, Alto provides constant support, work outreach, and liability insurance coverage.
Responsibilities and Duties:
As a child-care caregiver, your duties may include:
- Creating a safe and nurturing environment for children
- Assisting with basic child care tasks, such as feeding, diapering, and toileting
- Organizing and supervising recreational outings and educational activities
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must have the following qualifications:
- CPR and First Aid certification from a Canadian-accredited institution
- Recent Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector (no older than three months)
While previous experience is not required, it is preferred. We welcome individuals from all backgrounds and with different levels of experience who have a passion for child care.
